Dorfsman was the design chief at CBS and creator of the Gastrotypographicalassemblage, a 35 feet wide, 8 feet tall wall of wooden type that was installed in the CBS cafeteria in the 1960s. The typographic masterpiece was dismantled after 25 years in the 1990s but it is now being painstakingly restored by The Center for Design Study in Atlanta.
