My favorite Russian dessert: sirok. It’s a small chocolate-coated cheesecake bar with a center filling that comes in several flavors, such as caramel or fruit jam. It’s creamy and delicious, and is 80 cents per bar. But you’d have to come to Brighton Beach to buy one.
